Global Multimedia UK, June 2004, grant of £100. This was a small grant to host a live event at the Y-Theatre Bar in Leicester on the 3 June 2004. Project completed.
National Lottery (Awards for All scheme), January 2005, grant of £5000. This was a grant received to host four dayschools for the public, and publish a book-anthology of work produced from the workshops called Speaking Words: Writing for Reading Aloud. Project completed.
In 2005, Blackwell’s Bookshop provided the prize for a new competition called Soliloquized, as well as hosting a prize evening. Project completed.
Riverside Midlands, July 2005, grant of £1900. Riverside Housing funded us to run a series of three dayschools in BBC Leicester for writers 14+. Project completed.
AOL, ‘Innovation in the Community Award,’ July 2005, grant of £2000. This was a grant received from this national competition for further development of our website (www.crystalclearcreators.org.uk). Project completed.
Charnwood Arts / Astra Zenecca, July 2005, grant of £500. This was a grant received to run a series of evening classes for adults on prose writing. Project completed.
Ernest Cook Trust, October 2005, grant of £1200. This was a grant received to run a series of creative writing dayschools in schools and colleges around the Leicestershire area, including one dayschool for teachers on ‘Creative Writing and the Curriculum.’ Project completed.
Streets Apart project, Summer 2005, £500. Funding received from Just Inflex and the Home Office to work in partnership with Hathi Productions to develop scripts for a musical to be put on in Leicester. Project completed.
Loughborough University Development Trust, December 2005, £2000. This was a grant received to put on two dayschools at the university, and to publish a short anthology of creative work called In the Beginning. Project completed.
Loughborough University Development Trust, December 2005, grant of £750. This was a grant received to produce a radio serial for Carillon Radio, called The Willows. Project completed.

C.I.B.S. Leicester (Creative Industries Support), September 2006, grant of £2500. This grant was to produce a database of radio stations and a professionally-produced demonstration c.d. to be circulated among potential customers. Project completed.

English Martyrs School: ‘Sound of Science’, June 2007, grant of £400. This grant paid for a creative writing dayschool at BBC Radio Leicester for 13-17 year-olds. Project completed.
L.C.V.Y.S. (Leicestershire Council for Voluntary Youth Services), December 2006, £1200 (2006-7) and £3600 (2007-8). These grants are to run a series of dayschools in Leicestershire schools and educational institutions on creative writing and to publish an anthology of work by young writers.
Heritage Lottery Fund, December 2007, £22,500. This grant was to run a year-long project called ‘Reflecting on the Trans-Atlantic Slave-Trade,’ including various dayschools, a performance day, research and the production of two radio documentaries.
Mediabox, December 2007, £9,950. This grant paid for the development and delivery of a two-week Restricted Service Licence broadcast in Lincolnshire called Heat Rays FM. Project completed.
