Jonathan Taylor
Jonathan Taylor is co-founder and co-director of Crystal Clear Creators.
Jonathan writes prose and scripts for radio. His memoir, Take Me Home: Parkinson's, My Father, Myself, is published by Granta (http://www.granta.com/shop/product?product_id=3398).
His memoir was researched and written with the help of a grant from Arts Council England. He has had short stories and pieces published by various magazines and webzines, including Staple, Granta, A Chide's Alphbabet, Coffee House, Raw Edge, Kimota, Xenos, Wandering Dog, Guardian Education, The Guardian, Stand and others. He was the associate editor of Deadletteroffice (www.deadletteroffice.org.uk) until July 2007. His works have been recorded by Crystal Clear Creators, and broadcast on various radio stations, including Resonance FM, Carillon Radio, Heat FM, Virtually American, Oneword, and so on. He has had interviews and readings broadcast on Oneword, Radio 5, BBC Leicester, BBC Wales, BBC Cumbria, BBC Three Counties, BBC Jersey, and many others. He has given readings and performances across the country.
As a Lecturer in English at Loughborough University between 2002 and 2007, Jonathan was the co-founder and convenor of the M.A. in Creative Writing. From September 2007, he is a Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing at De Montfort University.
